Yuriko, a popular student with deeply-hidden neuroses, was granted Thanatos to gain eternal life by killing those who entered Thanatos Tower. Thanatos: The Persona of Yuriko Yamamoto.She also appears in Persona 3 as the Persona of Ken Amada. She appears as a blonde woman wearing an ancient Greek robe and wielding a shield and bloody spear. Michiko, a spiteful bully in life, was granted Nemesis to torture those she looks down upon endlessly within Nemesis Tower. Nemesis: The Persona of Michiko Matsudaira.Interestingly, he appears as a conventional Persona in Persona 3, wielded by Takaya Sakaki, but no reference is made to this game, as with the next two. Hypnos, as with the next two entries on this list, is eligible because, unlike other Personae, he fights independently of his user. He appears as a nude young man with blue hair and poppy stock wrapped around his body (which thankfully covers his privates). Kumi, a stressed-out student who committed suicide, was "saved" by the Night Queen (we'll get to her later) and granted Hypnos to put her fellow students to sleep forever within Hypnos Tower and supposedly save them from the stress she endured. After her defeat, she realizes the truth of the bonds between Maki and the others and re-merges with Maki, making her essentially a prototype of the Shadow Selves of later installments. During her boss fight, she manifests as a horrific lump of flesh with Maki's face growing out of it on a tendril, but this is only a cocoon for her true form: a giant duplicate of Maki with butterfly wings and antennae. She resides within the Avidya World, only accessed with the compacts given to the protagonist by the fragments of Maki's personality.
